Species by the Thousands, a new addition to It's so easy, is a Brooklyn-based lifestyle brand founded in 2005 by friends Erica Bradbury and Michele Colomer. We have started selling four types of sprays: Chakra Spray, White Sage Spray, Sweet Dream Spray, and Psychic Dream Spray.

My first encounter with Species by the Thousands was in Brooklyn. I was taking a leisurely stroll through the hustle and bustle of Manhattan when I happened to come across a select shop and popped in. I was drawn to it, and when I sprayed it on, I was so captivated by the wonderful scent that I ended up buying it.

After purchasing, I checked the ingredients closely due to my occupational hazards, and the ingredients are wonderful! There are no synthetic fragrances or unnecessary preservatives, so you can rest assured. All essential oils used are wildcrafted essential oils that have been certified organic. They also use vodka made from barley, rye, and other ingredients. (Oh, I'm getting a bit obsessive...)

After returning to Japan, I had been interested in this brand for a while, using it as a room spray, but to be honest, I couldn't accept the spiritual meanings of the products, such as chakra and psychic, so I didn't buy it. I tried burning white sage and using chakra spray before yoga, but I still didn't feel any power beyond the "good scent" and I was dull.

I reunited with the brand last summer.
During a business trip to New York, my schedule ended early and I happened to stop by an event where I bumped into the staff of Species by the Thousands.

Huh? Is this fate? The force of attraction?
Suddenly, a spiritual mind sprouted in me (lol). Since I had the chance, I asked them various questions about the products and the brand. When I talked to them, I felt very comfortable in the happy atmosphere. I heard them say, "Even if you can't understand it with your head, it's important to feel that it's good intuitively!" I somehow understood it, but at the same time I didn't.

What are chakras?
Their number one recommendation was chakra play . "Chakras" are the seven energy points in our bodies. It is said that by balancing these points, we can live beautifully and healthily. There are essential oils that are needed for each energy point (apparently the vibrations of the essential oils have an effect), and it is important to choose the one you need according to your condition.

The good thing about Species by the Thousands is that it contains all the essential oils that balance each of the seven in one bottle. It's not difficult to use, just spray it on your head anytime, anywhere, and let the scent and energy soak into your whole body. You will often feel the scent that corresponds to the chakra that needs healing at that time, and it's strange that the same person can feel a completely different scent depending on the state of the chakra. It's strange that just using it as an aroma spray naturally balances the chakras.

It is recommended to use it when you wake up in the morning, before going to sleep, or when you feel tired or lacking energy. It is also perfect for focusing your mind before starting meditation or yoga.

If you're curious about which chakra the scent you smell corresponds to, check out the relationship between chakras and essential oils.
