In 2011, Eric David Buss, founder of Davids, began to research the ingredients in the "natural" toothpaste he was using. He discovered that many of the products contained unhealthy ingredients and were misled by the "natural" label on the packaging. His search for a healthier, better product led him to the simple idea of creating his own toothpaste. After four years of extensive research with many experts, Davids Whitening Toothpaste was created.
