It's so easy! Original blended herbal tea is now available! (2)
The blending themes for It's so easy's original herbal teas were decided to be sleep / in / out, and the blending process began. (The story of how the blending themes were decided was introduced in the previous column .)
We asked Shirakbalab to create a blend that would fit the theme. The meeting location was Shirakaba in Hokkaido. The lab is about 30 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport, a little way into the mountains, and is quietly located. There are rows of domestically grown, pesticide-free herbs. As we tasted each one, we narrowed down the herbs that fit the theme, and from those we narrowed them down, we tried various combinations, added slightly different herbs, changed the blend ratio... and the endless possibilities were exciting.
For those who love herbal tea, this is an irresistible luxury.
The addition or subtraction of just a pinch of herb, less than 0.1g, can completely change the impression of the taste and aroma, and I am fascinated by the depth of Shirakabalab's blends.
After many tries and exchanges of opinions, we even had a staff member who openly claims he doesn't like any strong herbal tea try it, and we were able to create a blend that would suit the everyday needs of not only herbal tea lovers, but also those who aren't used to drinking herbal tea.

It's so easy×Shirakabalab Forest Series (sleep)
Chamomile is an essential ingredient in any sleep-supporting blend. Many people have probably heard that chamomile is good for insomnia and anxiety. In addition, it contains St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum), which has anti-stress and anti-depressant properties, and lemon balm, which has a healing effect, making it the perfect blend for when you want to relax. The small amount of spearmint added softens the herbal flavor, making it easy for anyone to drink.
Before getting into bed, warm up your body with a cup of warm herbal tea and enjoy the taste slowly. Warming your body will make the parasympathetic nervous system dominant, making it easier to fall asleep.
Blended herbs: German chamomile, St. John's wort, lemon balm, peppermint (all domestically grown and pesticide-free)
It's so easy×Shirakabalaba Forest Series(out)
Out is a cleansing herbal blend. It's like a cleansing or detox drink that you can carry around with you during the day and drink a lot to stay hydrated. The base herb is lemongrass. The refreshing taste and aroma make it perfect for the hot summer.
In addition, we added herbs that improve circulation within the body, but blended them together to create a light, easy-to-drink flavor.
Nettle, popular among those who suffer from respiratory problems and hay fever, and spearmint, which has high antioxidant power and can withstand sunlight. In addition, blue chicory flowers are blended. Chicory is characterized by its slightly bitter taste and refreshing aftertaste. It is a classic herb in Europe for children and adults alike, as caffeine-free chicory coffee.
The out blend is great for when you're feeling stressed, tired, or unsettled, and want to let go of excess in both body and mind and feel liberated. It's also recommended before and after yoga or meditation. It's a blend that regulates the gastrointestinal function and improves circulation, so it's also great after eating or drinking too much.
Blended herbs: lemongrass, yarrow, dokudami, peppermint, nettle, chicory (all domestically grown and pesticide-free)
It's so easy×Shirakabalaba Forest Series (in)
A blend of hibiscus, which is rich in iron, minerals, and vitamins, and two types of rose, which are rich in polyphenols. After releasing excess substances from your body with Blend Out, use Blend I In to take in what your body needs.
This blend, which has beauty and anti-aging effects, is a gorgeous red tea that also looks great. The well-balanced sweet and sour taste of lemon verbena balances the overall flavor, making this a blend that even those who don't like fruity flavors should try.
We also added borage, a blue star-shaped flower. Borage is a herb of vitality. It is rich in calcium and potassium and has a tonic effect. Try incorporating it in the morning when you don't want to take in caffeine but want to wake up refreshed, when you want to take a break during work, or at night when you're tired after a hard day's work.
Blend in is an interesting blend that can calm the mind while also giving you energy.
Blended herbs: Pink rose, red rose, hibiscus, lemon verbena, borage (all domestically grown and pesticide-free)
Three blends based on the theme that will have a profound effect on your body. We hope that these herbal teas will help you have a happy and comfortable time.
