The best drink to enjoy at home

These days, when we are spending more time at home, we find yoga and pilates on social media, at-home beauty treatments, spring cleaning, cooking, and plenty of sleep!

I think many people are able to spend their time meaningfully by having the opportunity to do things that they usually tend to put off.

I, too, am enthusiastic to try my hand at cooking, something I usually do carelessly, and take this opportunity to improve my housekeeping skills!

Despite my enthusiasm, time passes surprisingly quickly as I cook for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, clean, and complete the day's tasks.

As I spend my time trying new things, the best way for me to relax is to gulp down some sweet potato shochu mixed with soda after taking a bath.

As a salesperson who deals in organic skincare, my tastes may be a little on the subdued side, but as someone with Kyushu blood running through my veins, I have come to accept that shochu and I have an inseparable bond. I say that I like what I like!

And when enjoying this shochu, the glasses always come from Kimura Glass.

It has now become an indispensable item when enjoying an evening drink.

I had heard rumors that drinking from thin glasses tastes better, but I was worried for many years whether I would be able to use them properly since I often break glasses. However, once I discovered the benefits of drinking from these glasses, I was hooked.

The defining feature of Kimura Glass is its extremely thin glass drinking rims.

My impression when I first tried it was that it tasted just like something you'd drink in a bar or a fine restaurant!

Even if you haven't changed what you're drinking, just using a different vessel can make it feel special and like you're drinking at a restaurant.

When this happens, humans tend to pursue greater tasting food.

Now I'm looking forward to researching how to make good shochu and highballs.

By the way, the glass from Kimura Glass can be stacked.

I have no trouble finding storage space for them, so I end up collecting them.

And it can be used for hot drinks as well as cold drinks!

When you pour hot tea or water into it, the warmth is transmitted to the glass, allowing you to enjoy the warmth of your drink.

The happiness you feel from taking your time to carefully brew coffee or tea, something that you wouldn't be able to do in your hectic daily life.

That's why I feel so grateful now.

Now that we are spending more time at home, it's time to take your daily routine up a notch.

You might discover something new and find happiness there.

I have a feeling we can still have fun during this stay-at-home Golden Week!
