HERBIVORE BOTANICALS will be releasing "Coco Rose Body Oil." This oil has a beautiful color like rosé wine and is enchanting to look at and use.

■About the scent The scent is exactly the same as Coco Rose Scrub. Of course. It has a stronger, more pronounced scent than the scrub, but over time it changes to a fresh rose scent.
This body oil is part of the same line as Coco Rose Scrub, so I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who likes the scent of rose tea!
■Balance of use <br>I thought that using a scrub for nighttime body care and a body oil for daytime body care would be a good balance.
I think using body oil after Coco Rose scrub might be a bit too much in the summer.
*Coco Rose Scrub is a popular product that leaves your skin moisturized and leaves it without the need for after-bath care. I think it would be great to use it as a set during the dry winter season.
■About the texture <br>The texture is non-sticky and has a smooth oily feel that is unique to Herbivore.
It has a texture that makes it easy to use on hair and as a whole body massage oil.
The glossy feeling after application and the texture that I would describe as more "moisturizing" than just moisturizing are major features of Cocorose and are really great!
Since it's the season for showing off skin, I also liked the sensual look it gave on slightly tanned skin.
■Q&A
A common question in the summer is about oil burns. Oil + sun. Just looking at the words, it sounds like it could burn you. (Scary!)
Some oils oxidize easily and some do not, and it is said that the cause of oxidation is the "impurities" contained in the oil.
Using oil with a lot of impurities can cause blemishes and dullness, so choose oil with as high a purity as possible.
Among these, coconut oil and squalane oil are in the category of oils that are resistant to oxidation.
Coconut oil in particular has antioxidant properties, and is said to prevent the oxidation of sebum from the skin, as well as provide a natural SPF effect.
Coco Rose Body Oil's base is coconut (MCT oil) and squalane, so it will likely be used more frequently as a body oil in the summer.
While the purpose is to protect the skin, simply protecting it with body oil can significantly reduce sun damage.
